Lesson 7: Home row checkpoint

A 2-minute check of everything on the home row. Pass it to finish chapter 1.

Checkpoints prove a skill has really stuck. For two minutes children type a mix of home row letters and words, with no new keys and no guided help, just steady typing.

Passing needs 6 words per minute with at least 90% accuracy. It finishes chapter 1, earns the Home Row Hero certificate and opens the Reach Up chapter.

Goal: type at 6 words per minute with at least 90% accuracy to master the lesson and earn up to three stars.
