Lesson 3: D and K

Add your middle fingers on D and K without looking at the keyboard.

Your middle fingers sit right next to your pointer fingers: the left middle finger rests on D and the right middle finger rests on K. Keep F and J under your pointer fingers so your hands never drift away from the home row.

A common mistake is lifting the whole hand to press a key. Instead, move just the one finger and let it bounce back to its home key. Short, regular practice builds this muscle memory faster than one long session.

New keys in this lesson: D, K.
