Lesson 6: Home-row words

Now the home row turns into real words. Words such as add, fall, sad, ask and salad use only the eight home keys, so children practise reading and typing whole words at once instead of single letters.

Try to type each word in one smooth movement rather than letter by letter, and press the space bar between words without pausing. The goal rises a little, to 6 words per minute with 90% accuracy.

Goal: type at 6 words per minute with at least 90% accuracy to master the lesson and earn up to three stars.
