Lesson 31: Numbers 1–5

Reach up to the number row for 1 to 5 with your left hand.

Numbers live on the top row of the keyboard. Your left little finger types 1, the ring finger types 2, the middle finger types 3, and your left pointer finger types both 4 and 5.

The number row is a long reach, so move only the finger you need and keep the others resting on the home row. The practice mixes numbers with words, just like real writing such as dates and scores.

New keys in this lesson: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

Goal: type at 14 words per minute with at least 90% accuracy to master the lesson and earn up to three stars.
