Lesson 49: Speed ladder

Three one-minute runs with goals of 15, 20 and 25 words per minute.

The ladder has three rungs. Each run lasts one minute, and the goal steps up from 15 to 20 to 25 words per minute, so children stretch their speed little by little.

Reaching 25 words per minute with 90% accuracy in any run passes the lesson. If a run falls short, the next one gives another chance to climb.

Goal: type at 25 words per minute with at least 90% accuracy to master the lesson and earn up to three stars.
