Lesson 37: &, * and [ ]

The ampersand is Shift and 7, and the star, also called an asterisk, is Shift and 8. Both are typed by the right hand, so hold the left Shift.

Square brackets sit to the right of P and are typed with the right little finger. They often mark notes, like [see page 2], and are common in coding.
